At Austin Center, our pediatric occupational therapy services help children gain independence in daily activities at home, school, and play. We support children who have challenges with sensory processing, motor coordination, attention, or self-care skills.
Our therapy focuses on helping children process sensory information effectively while developing fine and gross motor skills. Activities are designed to improve hand strength, coordination, balance, posture, and body awareness in a fun and supportive environment.
Through individualized therapy plans, children learn essential skills such as dressing, writing, eating, and participating confidently in classroom and social settings. Our goal is to help every child feel capable, confident, and independent in their everyday routines.
Our therapy focuses on:
- Sensory Integration – helping children respond appropriately to sensory input such as touch, sound, and movement
- Fine Motor Skills – improving hand strength, grasp, handwriting, and self-care tasks
- Gross Motor Skills – enhancing balance, coordination, posture, and body control
Each child receives a personalized therapy plan based on their individual needs and developmental goals. Through play-based and structured activities, we create a positive and engaging environment that encourages independence, confidence, and overall growth.
