Role Overview

As an ABA therapist, you will deliver one-to-one and small-group ABA programmes for children, follow individualised behaviour and skill-acquisition plans, collect data on progress, and work closely with parents so skills carry over to home.

Responsibilities

Implement individualised ABA programmes designed by the supervising clinician
Deliver structured teaching, including discrete trial training and natural environment teaching
Teach communication, social, play, self-help and learning-readiness skills
Apply positive reinforcement and behaviour-reduction strategies in line with the behaviour plan
Coach parents and caregivers on strategies to use at home
Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Special Education or a related field
RBT, BCaBA or BCBA certification is preferred; candidates with relevant training and experience may be considered
Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities
Freshers with relevant training are welcome for the junior post
Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage
Eligibility for the relevant UAE health licence where required (see below)
